Job Specifications

Job Title: Cloud and Software Engineering Team Lead

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6Months (possible extension)

Hybrid- 3 days in the office

Mandatory Requirements:

10+ years experience in Infrastructure, Cloud and Software Engineering
5+ years experience on engineering AWS infra with relevant services: IAM, EC2, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, KMS, VPC, Cognito, Config, SCP, CloudTrail, VPC Endpoint, Quick Suite.
Azure and GCP nice to have.
5+ years experience on CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps platforms: Terraform, Ansible, Github/Actions, Jenkins/AWS Codebuild, Vault, ELK stack
Hands on experience on container technologies, such as EKS, Docker, service mesh
Strong knowledge on AWS networking services such as Transit Gateway, Route 53, firewall
AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional level certification required
Knowledge Across Cloud Security Practices and Tools, Architecture, FinOps and Cost Governance
Lead continued improvement efforts for operational efficiency and improvement
