Job Description:

Responsibilities –

- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable enterprise platforms on cloud infrastructure, focusing on AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)

- Contribute to software development and improvement of cloud infrastructure of Manulife

- Automate infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform.

- Optimize application deployment and management using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Utilize Jenkins, Flux, and Istio to enhance continuous integration, delivery, and security.

- Ensure robust, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure by applying knowledge of cloud network concepts, storage, and security.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and optimize cloud infrastructure.

Skills Required –

- 4+ years of experience in leading Cloud ( AKS preferred , AWS / GCP) and infrastructure scalable enterprise platform

- 4+ year of experience of software development with object oriented programming languages such as : C# , Java ,Javascript , Typescript

- 2+ year of experience with Infrastructure automation tool such as Terraform

- 2+ experience with Container and Orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

- Strong knowledge of Jenkins, Flux and Istio or any other service mesh is heavily recommended

- Strong knowledge of cloud network concepts, storage and security is also recommended

Activities :

1. AKS Integration With Azure Active Directory for Authentication and Authorization.

2. AKS Networking and Communication using Azure VNet.

3. High Availability and Reliability of Applications in AKS.

4. Persistent Data storage In Containers using Azure Storage.

5. Azure CLI to Updates and Upgrades to the Kubernetes Cluster

6. Azure Keyvault for Secret management in AKS.

7. Use of Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for AKS logging and monitoring

8. Azure Role base Access Control(RBAC) implementation in AKS.
