BCforward is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to support their pharmaceutical client’s facility in Boston, MA.

Expected Duration: Long term

Location: Boston, MA (4 days onsite, 1 day offsite).

Our client in the life sciences industry is seeking a Business Analyst to help each research site to help collaborate with user to understand needs/requirements, communicate to IT, troubleshoot, and track issues to completion.

Requirements Gathering

Define and manage requirements and ensuring they are in-line with customer expectations and understood by both business and IT.
Meet with stakeholders to understand requirements such as report generation, templates for the electronic notebook, recipe and sign off, security requirements, etc.
Analyze current business processes and workflows
Develop and maintain clear, concise requirements documentation

Process Mapping & Documentation

Create process models and workflow diagrams
Provide detailed documentation of business processes and recommended improvements
Solution Design
Collaborate with technical teams to design effective business solutions
Ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities

Testing and Validation

Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases
Execute test management activities and provide leadership for test execution.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business requirements
Document deviations

Reporting & Presentations

Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and updates to stakeholders
Create business cases and reports for ongoing projects
Support & Training
Provide ongoing support for training to business users
Collaborate with team to assist with smooth transition and adoption of new processes or systems
