About The Role
LayerZero Labs is seeking talented Security Engineers at all levels to join our Security & IT team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in shaping security best practices across the organization. You will focus on securing cloud infrastructure, improving internal security posture, and supporting compliance objectives. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly growing environment, with a high degree of autonomy.
What You'll Do
Conduct risk assessments of internal systems and third-party applications.
Collaborate cross-functionally to implement security best practices.
Audit and strengthen security configurations across endpoints, infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
Enhance security monitoring and detection capabilities to proactively mitigate risks.
Support compliance and regulatory efforts e.g. SOC 2, ISO27001.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP), IAM, and Infrastructure as Code.
Experience conducting risk assessments and security reviews.
Strong knowledge of security principles and industry standards.
Bonus: Familiarity with blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and decentralized finance.
