Platform Support Engineer - £600 per day - Outside IR35

Our client is a leading investment management and trading firm - At the forefront of financial technology, automated trading strategies and macro trends.

In their central London office, 3 days a week, they’re looking to hire a Platform Support / Operations Engineer.

This is an initial 6 month contract, outside IR35 and paying ~£600 per day.

You’ll be key in managing the Azure cloud platform - Ensuring reliability, security, and performance across all environments.

You’ll work across Infrastructure as Code (IaC), network operations, monitoring, IAM, DevOps and more – A very varied role!

Requirements:

Excellent, hands-on, Azure experience
Good knowledge of Azure networking, identity management and security
Experience of Azure services - VMs, Storage, SQL, App Services and container services (ACI, AKS)
Monitoring skills
Good Infrastructure as Code skills with Terraform
Ansible for configuration management would be ideal
Good understanding of IAM and (Azure) security best practices
Experience supporting Azure networking components
Excellent general DevOps and CI/CD skills (containers, automation etc)
