Job Title - Events Marketing Manager

Location: Remote (PST time zone highly preferred)

Salary Range: Pay dependent on geographical location: $40.34-$48.83/hr

10-month assignment on W2 with a possibility for extension based on performance and budget.

30% travel requirement: Must be willing to travel to larger tradeshow events for at least 3-4 days each quarter!

Introduction

As the Events Marketing Manager, you will support the execution of high-impact events across North America, bringing event strategies to life through strong program management and flawless delivery. Reporting to the Director of Virtual & Ancillary Events, you will manage a diverse portfolio of programs—including regional events, community and customer-led experiences, third-party conferences, and ancillary moments tied to larger tentpole initiatives—designed to drive awareness, engagement, and demand.

You will manage events end to end, from planning through post-event reporting, scaling programs based on business priorities and established strategy. You'll partner closely with Integrated Marketing, Customer Marketing, Brand & Communications, Sales, Product Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution and cohesive, audience-first experiences.

This role is highly execution-oriented, with opportunities to contribute ideas and recommendations that enhance program performance. You'll support experimentation with new event formats, community-driven experiences, and emerging tools, applying learnings to improve efficiency, personalization, and attendee engagement. You'll help document best practices and executional insights to inform future programs and ongoing optimization.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented marketer who excels at managing multiple programs simultaneously, thrives in fast-moving environments, and brings a data-informed, test-and-learn mindset to event execution across field, community, and hybrid experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of B2B marketing experience in a SaaS or technology environment, with hands-on experience executing event and field marketing programs.
Proven ability to plan, execute, and scale event programs that support demand generation, pipeline progression, and audience engagement.
Working knowledge of B2B lead flow and demand processes, with experience partnering with Marketing Operations, Sales Operations, and Sales teams to support execution and follow-through.
Strong project management skills, with demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional events while maintaining high standards for quality, timelines, and execution.
Hands-on experience managing event budgets and vendor relationships, including contracts, agencies, venues, and production partners.
Data-informed mindset with experience tracking performance, reporting results, and applying insights to improve future programs.
Clear, effective communicator who collaborates well across Brand, Integrated Marketing, and cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel up to :30%.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience marketing SaaS or productivity solutions, with familiarity across both sales-assisted and product-led growth models.
Hands-on experience supporting or managing in-person event programs.
Familiarity with event management platforms, marketing automation tools, and data analysis to plan, measure, and optimize event performance

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Execute end-to-end North America events programs aligned to established marketing strategies, spanning regional events, community and customer programs, third-party conferences, and ancillary activations.
Own full event execution from planning through post-event wrap, including timelines, vendors and venues, contracts, budgets, logistics, production, and onsite experience.
Deliver customer-first, high-quality event experiences that clearly communicate the company’s value and strengthen audience engagement.
Partner with cross-functional teams—including Customer Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales, Integrated Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand & Communications, Content, and Marketing Operations—to ensure events are cohesive, on-message, and campaign-aligned.
Implement pre-event, onsite, and post-event engagement tactics to drive attendance, participation, advocacy, and measurable business impact.
Leverage data, experimentation, and emerging AI tools to personalize attendee journeys, optimize engagement, and continuously improve event performance.
Track and report on event performance and ROI, applying insights, testing, and emerging tools to continuously optimize execution.
