**Job Title:** eCommerce Planner
**Role Summary:**
Plan, forecast, and manage inventory for a portfolio of online stores. Analyze sales data, product performance, and market trends to inform buying decisions, stock levels, and promotional strategies. Coordinate with finance, production, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of inventory issues.
**Expectations:**
- Provide accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans that support sales growth and margin targets.
- Make data‑driven recommendations on inventory positioning, buy‑back, print‑on‑demand, and product discontinuation.
- Communicate inventory needs and timelines clearly to all stakeholders and maintain up‑to‑date reporting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Review on‑hand quantities and determine optimal stock positions based on weeks of supply, sell‑through, seasonal trends, and product lifecycle.
- Project sales and inventory for core product lines using historical data and growth forecasts.
- Identify products for promotional or marketing campaigns and manage their lifecycle.
- Recommend inventory strategies (buy, inventory position, print‑on‑demand) for each SKU.
- Coordinate with finance for budget approval and with production for order placement.
- Monitor D2C product performance, flag declining sales, and propose discontinuation.
- Manage excess and obsolete inventory, proposing markdowns or liquidations.
- Track incoming orders, communicate status, and collaborate with logistics and customer service to resolve discrepancies.
- Build relationships with in‑house production to resolve quality or supply issues.
- Maintain updated reports across multiple platforms and systems.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, dashboards).
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast‑growing commercial environment with evolving systems.
- Experience in eCommerce buying, sales analysis, and inventory planning (≥2 years).
- Familiarity with garment production processes.
- General understanding of the music or entertainment industry (preferred).
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant business experience, preferably in music, entertainment, or retail eCommerce.
- No specific certifications required, though knowledge of inventory management or supply chain courses is a plus.
