What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Architect and scale core observability systems, including logging, metrics, and tracing pipelines
Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance the observability posture
Mentor a growing team of infrastructure engineers and share best practices
Optimize performance and costs of large-scale data pipelines and storage
Extend observability to AI features by instrumenting prompts and model calls
What is Required (Qualifications):
6+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on observability or infrastructure at scale
Proven experience implementing and running production-grade logging, metrics, or tracing systems
Proficiency in distributed systems concepts, data streaming pipelines, and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Strong knowledge of tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and OpenTelemetry
Ability to communicate technical trade-offs and architectural plans effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating across multiple teams
Comfort with programming languages such as Go, Python, or Java for building observability tooling
Passion for enabling engineering organizations through reliable observability tools
