Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and driven Content Writer - Product Marketing to develop compelling, strategic content that fuels customer growth, engagement, and retention. This role blends storytelling, demand-generation focused content, and journalism-inspired curiosity to bring product narratives to life and drive measurable revenue impact.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation for Demand Generation & Advertising
Develop high-impact copy to support demand generation and advertising campaigns
Create content for digital ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and other marketing assets
Apply an understanding of marketing strategy and audience psychology to attract, engage, and convert prospects
Content Development & Storytelling
Write newsletter articles, blog posts, and product-focused stories based on input from subject matter experts (SMEs)
Conduct SME interviews to uncover insights, angles, and compelling storylines
Translate technical, product, tax, and accounting concepts into clear, engaging content
Ensure content aligns with product marketing strategy and supports revenue and growth goals
Content Marketing & Lifecycle Program Execution
Support ongoing customer communication programs (e.g., Account Bulletins), including scheduling, drafting, and proofing
Maintain and manage the content marketing editorial calendar
Assist with coordinating marketing materials, collateral updates, and campaign assets
Execute email marketing campaigns supporting lifecycle, retention, and upsell initiatives
Prepare content for launches, promotions, newsletters, and thought-leadership initiatives
Collaboration & Performance Tracking
Work cross-functionally with product marketing, product management, demand generation, content marketing, and customer success teams
Ensure timely delivery of content across multiple workstreams
Track performance metrics for select content and email campaigns
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in content writing, content marketing, or product marketing
Strong portfolio demonstrating editorial quality, storytelling, and clarity
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Familiarity with basic HTML (OneWeb)
Experience with marketing automation and CMS tools (Pardot and Sitecore preferred; training available)
Curious interviewer able to extract insights and craft engaging narratives
Understanding of content strategy, customer lifecycle, and marketing concepts
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail
Clear, proactive written and verbal communication skills
Ability to research complex topics and produce high-quality drafts
