Merchandising Analyst
Position Overview
The Merchandising Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the merchandising team by providing actionable insights and analysis to enhance product assortment and inventory management. This position aims to optimize the overall retail performance through data analysis and collaboration with various stakeholders.
This role will be critical in managing markdown processes, ensuring operational accuracy, and delivering timely updates that drive efficiency across store.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for product assortment and inventory management.
Develop and maintain Excel models to support forecasting and inventory planning.
Create PowerBI dashboards to visualize key performance indicators for merchandising.
Collaborate with the merchandising team to develop strategies that align with market trends and customer preferences.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI for data analysis and reporting.
Experience in merchandising or retail analytics is preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Retail Operations Expertise: Familiarity with markdown processes, store operations, and merchandising principles (required).
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
