Role Overview
Ascenteum is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Mastery to support a special initiative within its Wealth Management Technology organization. This role is ideal for a results-driven analyst with a strong blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and data expertise. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable technical and data-driven solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and data requirements.
Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and shared understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, architects, and data engineers to support the design and delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions.
Perform data analysis to validate assumptions, inform decision-making, and identify opportunities for process and system improvements.
Manage and support multiple initiatives concurrently, ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain documentation including requirements, process flows, specifications, and supporting materials for development and testing.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying gaps, recommending enhancements, and promoting best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong focus on technology and/or data-driven initiatives.
Proven experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis, SQL, or data visualization tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with APIs, data integration, or cloud-based platforms.
Familiarity with project and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous or fast-changing environments.
