Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain FIX-based market connectivity solutions for Front Office trading systems
Build and enhance exchange, broker, and counterparty connectivity using FIX protocol
Implement FIX session management, order lifecycle handling, custom tags, and extensions
Optimize connectivity for low latency, high throughput, and high availability
Work closely with traders, connectivity teams, and infrastructure to deliver resilient solutions
Own and support connectivity components in production, including troubleshooting and incident resolution

Key Skills

8+ years of experience in electronic trading or market connectivity development
Expert-level knowledge of FIX protocol, including session management and message flows
Authored or contributed to the QuickFIX open-source project
Deep experience with FIX engines such as QuickFIX or similar frameworks
Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET
Proven Front Office development experience
Solid experience building and supporting market connectivity (exchanges, brokers, gateways, adapters)
Direct exposure to Power and Gas trading markets
Strong understanding of trading workflows, market structure, and connectivity architectures
