Expactations: - 8+ years in electronic trading or market connectivity development. - Expert knowledge of FIX protocol (session management, message flows). - Direct experience in Power and Gas trading markets. - Proven front‑office development background. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and build FIX connectivity solutions (engines, adapters). - Implement session management, order lifecycle handling, custom tags, and extensions. - Optimize for low latency and high availability. - Collaborate with traders, connectivity teams, and IT infrastructure. - Oversee production components—troubleshoot, resolve incidents, and maintain uptime. Work closely with trading, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver robust connectivity solutions, enhance system performance and reliability, and resolve production issues. Expectations: Deliver high quality, scalable code; participate in architecture discussions and code reviews; troubleshoot and resolve complex production incidents; continuously improve system performance. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and support Java‑based market connectivity and eTrading applications. • Build and maintain low‑latency, high‑throughput systems that connect to external venues, exchanges, and brokers. • Collaborate with trading, infrastructure, and product teams to define and implement robust connectivity solutions. • Enhance system performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. • Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions and system improvements. • Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and best‑practice guidelines.
