About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting, implementing, and scaling our infrastructure to ensure resilience, security, and optimal performance across all systems. You will lead efforts to design scalable, highly available, and secure IT environments supporting key technology tools such as Okta, GSuite, Slack, Jamf, and Palo Alto Firewalls. Your expertise will drive automation initiatives through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency. You will collaborate closely with engineering, IT, and InfoSec teams to implement security best practices, maintain compliance, and develop comprehensive observability solutions. Mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of continuous improvement are also key aspects of this role. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely or from our offices in select locations, with a focus on innovation, security, and operational excellence.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps or IT infrastructure engineering
Proven track record in architecting and managing complex IT systems
Experience leading large cross-team initiatives during periods of rapid growth
Advanced proficiency in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and compliance
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Okta Certified Administrator, or CISSP are preferred
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure supporting key IT tools and systems
Lead automation efforts through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to enhance reliability and efficiency
Develop and maintain observability solutions including logging, tracing, and metrics collection for troubleshooting and performance analysis
Collaborate with InfoSec to enforce security policies, role-based access control, and compliance monitoring
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process automation opportunities and optimizing workflows
Mentor and guide junior engineers in DevOps best practices and infrastructure management
Participate in incident response planning and execution to ensure rapid resolution of system issues
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of IT solutions
