Project Manager

I am seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong technical background for a long term contract assignment for a customer based in Strasbourg. This is a hybrid role but requires mostly on-site working ( 90% ) The technical requirements are specific ( see requirements section below ) and the customer will expect to see a good match in candidates technical skills combined with solid Project Management experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager

Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Organize and facilitate project meetings and status updates.
Track project milestones and ensure on-time delivery of all deliverables.
Ensure effective communication between developers, testers, infra teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Manage project risks, issues, and change requests throughout the lifecycle.
Follow up on new release development and deployment activities.
Lead and coordinate deployments across clusters and environments.
Own INFRA, SECURITY, and TESTING aspects.

Required skills and experience of the Project Manager

Master degree in IT and 12 years of professional experience in IT.
Strong experience in technical project or delivery management.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional technical teams.
Solid understanding of infrastructure, platforms, and cloud concepts.
Experience in release, deployment, or environment management.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational abilities.
Comfortable working in environments involving: Red Hat OpenShift (OCP), Microservices architectures, Kubernetes concepts (pods, clusters, deployments), Cloud & virtualized environments, Red Hat Linux, vCenter,Ceph, Applications & DevOps, Networking & Security.
Fluent in English at least at a level C1.
