Software Engineer - Custom Software Development

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a high-impact digital programme, working on the extension of a critical application within a complex enterprise environment. The Role

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will design, build, and enhance bespoke software solutions across systems and applications. You will work with modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions aligned to business needs. You'll also play a key role in technical leadership, contributing to design decisions and guiding the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance custom software solutions

Build high-quality, scalable applications using modern frameworks and agile practices

Act as a subject matter expert, contributing to technical and architectural decisions

Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver integrated solutions

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback

Solve complex technical challenges across teams

Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends

Skills & Experience

Expert proficiency in Apple iOS application development

Strong experience in custom application development

Advanced understanding of software engineering principles, design, and solution architecture

Proven experience working in collaborative, agile delivery environments
