Full Stack Engineer (Java) – Contract

Location: London

Rate: £440 per day (Inside IR35)

Working Pattern: Onsite, 5 days per week

Contract Length: February 2026 – December 2027

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will work across the full development lifecycle, contributing to both frontend and backend development while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an onsite environment.

You will be expected to act as a subject matter expert, support technical decision-making, and contribute to engineering best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, efficient software solutions
Develop end-to-end features from user experience through to backend services
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver new functionality
Participate in code reviews and promote high engineering standards
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of modern technologies

Key Skills & Experience

Strong commercial experience with Java
Experience with Spring Boot
Good understanding of Microservices architecture
Experience working in agile delivery environments
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
