Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java) – Contract

Location: London

Rate: £440 per day (Inside IR35)

Working Pattern: Onsite, 5 days per week

Contract Length: February 2026 – December 2027

Role Overview

This role is suited to a Senior Full Stack Engineer joining a global financial institution. The organisation delivers innovative financial services and solutions to corporate and consumer clients internationally. You will apply a cloud-first, agile mindset to solve challenging engineering problems, take ownership of technical delivery, and support junior engineers within the onsite team.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain robust, scalable full-stack solutions
Take ownership of technical design and implementation decisions
Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver high-quality outcomes
Apply modern engineering practices including BDD and automated testing
Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Drive continuous improvement across engineering practices

Key Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Java
Experience with Spring Boot
Knowledge of BDD, Kubernetes, and Terraform
Experience with Oracle Database
Strong understanding of agile software delivery
