Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. Role
Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:

Job Description
The underwriting intern will support all areas of underwriting [Reporting, Operations, Systems and Support, Governance, Renewals] to
Refine underwriting process, simplify rules, help other business partners to better understand the acceptable risks
Contribute to and participate in development and maintenance of procedures
Look for business process improvements
Actively monitor results for trending patterns and/or issues in order to continuously improve
Contribute to change management activities within the team
Participate in Underwriting initiatives as required
Adhere to established service level agreements
Adapt quickly to system changes/enhancements/environment
Job Requirements
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of returning to studies at the end of the internship
Strong analytical, critical reasoning and problem solving skills
Comfortable making decisions in ambiguous circumstances
Can perform effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Must thrive in fast paced environment and be comfortable with constant deadlines
Additional Information
This position is a 4-month work term and will commence May 4th – August 21st, 2026.
