Job Specifications

12 month contract

Hybrid 3x per week in Toronto

Pay: $23/hr T4

Required Skills & Experience

1–2 years of relevant financial services experience within asset management (internships accepted).
Background in finance, business, or related field. Graduate degree or CFA/FRM/CIPM a plus.
Strong understanding of finance, portfolio theory, asset classes, and investment products.
Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
Knowledge of performance measurement principles; P&L attribution is an asset.
Strong experience with SQL and Python (school experience accepted)
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; SQL/VBA/programming experience is a plus.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Eagle PACE or Bloomberg is an asset

Insight Global is seeking a motivated Analyst to join a leading client’s Performance Measurement & Analytics team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of experience — internship experience in asset management or performance & measurement is acceptable.

What You’ll Do

Produce and deliver investment performance reports and analytics across multiple portfolios.
Perform performance calculations, attribution, exposure reporting, and asset mix analysis.
Conduct detailed research on investment performance and support methodology evaluations.
Develop regular and ad‑hoc performance and attribution models for investment teams.
Monitor performance, risk, and attribution at various portfolio levels.
Collaborate with Front Office, Data Management, Investment Risk, and IT teams.
Provide value‑add insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
Identify process improvements and support the enhancement of reporting environments.
Stay up to date on investment market trends to support ongoing projects.
