We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Java) to join an elite engineering team building high-scale, mission-critical systems. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, take pride in clean and maintainable code, and thrive in high-throughput, always-on environments.

You will contribute to platforms operating at extreme transaction volumes (TPS), requiring strong system design, reliability engineering, and performance optimization expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java
Solve complex technical challenges with a structured, analytical approach
Collaborate with senior engineers to evolve distributed system architecture
Write clean, testable, maintainable code following best engineering practices
Participate in design reviews and defend architectural decisions with data-driven reasoning
Improve system performance, resilience, and observability in high-TPS environments
Contribute to CI/CD automation and continuous engineering improvements

Required Technical Skills

Core Java & Messaging

Strong hands-on experience with Java 8 / 11
Lambda expressions, Stream API
Completable Future & asynchronous programming
Deep understanding of Kafka
Messaging semantics, replication, durability
Reliability, infrastructure, and performance tuning
Data retention strategies

Data & Persistence

Experience with MongoDB (data modeling, scalability, performance optimization)
Experience with enterprise databases such as Oracle, Sybase IQ, or DB2

Engineering & DevOps

Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality and technical debt management
Hands-on experience with Drools or similar rules engine
