About Nana Betty’s

Nana Betty’s is a proudly Ontario-made frozen food brand bringing people together through comfort food with personality. Rooted in community, family, and feel-good moments, we exist to make freezer aisles warmer, friendlier, and a little more fun. You’ll find us popping up at markets, in stores, and soon, in a freezer near you.

The Role

The Marketing & Events Coordinator is a hands-on, high-energy role responsible for bringing Nana Betty’s to life in the real world and online. This person lives at the intersection of community, retail, and brand storytelling; from running demos in grocery stores to managing social content, coordinating farmers’ markets, and executing grassroots brand activations.

This role is ideal for someone who loves being out in the field, talking to people, and turning everyday moments into brand love.

Key ResponsibilitiesEvents & Community Activation

Plan, schedule, and execute in-store demos across independent and regional grocery retailers
Work closely with the sales team to support new listings and priority stores
Set up demo stations, prepare samples, and engage shoppers with confidence and warmth
Collect feedback, photos, and insights from the field to share internally
Ensure brand standards are upheld in-store (signage, freezer placement, POS materials)

Create and post content tied to:
Events and demos
In-store moments
Community features
Product highlights
Capture short-form video, photos, and stories from the field
Maintain a consistent brand voice aligned with Nana Betty’s tone — friendly, cheeky, inclusive
Support light community management (DMs, comments, reposts)

Trade & Brand Marketing Support

Support trade marketing initiatives (sell sheets, POS ideas, sampler programs)
Assist with brand partnerships and local collaborations
Help maintain a calendar of launches, events, and promotions
Track basic performance metrics (event ROI, demo conversion, social engagement)

Who You Are

A natural people-person who loves talking food and community
Organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling multiple projects
Equally comfortable behind a phone camera or behind a demo table
Comfortable working some evenings and weekends
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the GTA

Experience

1–3 years experience in:

Events
Social media
CPG / food & beverage (strong asset)
Demo, ambassador, or field marketing experience is a big plus
