Overview
The Print and Localisation Manager is responsible for overseeing all print, dubbing, and subtitling activities for releases across all three studios, as well as selected Amazon titles. The role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality local versions and print materials, supporting theatrical release, marketing, and sales activities.
Working closely with local studios, translators, marketing teams, exhibitors, and internal stakeholders, the Print Manager manages the end-to-end localization and print workflow, from creative coordination through final delivery and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Dubbing & Subtitling Management
Manage the end-to-end dubbing and subtitling process for all releases, ensuring timely delivery of local versions.
Coordinate subtitling with translators and local subtitling studios, including planning, follow-up, and subtitle proofreading.
Coordinate local dubbing processes, including:
Creative calls with dubbing supervisors and local dubbing studios
Brainstorming sessions with local marketing teams and dubbing studios
Follow-up on voice casting, recording, mix, and mastering in collaboration with local studios, dubbing supervisors, and studio print departments
Review and approve final recordings and check-prints.
Manage Narrative Title Lists and credits.
Print & Distribution Operations
Oversee all print-related tasks, including Gofilex management and supervising print delivery to exhibitors.
Manage communication with exhibitors regarding print delivery and resolve print-related issues, including outside standard business hours when required.
Follow up on digital content distribution to exhibitors and external partners via Gofilex.
Trailer & Promotional Content
Order, localize, and track delivery of features and in-theatre trailers through studio-specific systems.
Manage trailer distribution to exhibitors, including communication on trailer placements and follow-up on trailer deals.
Support the ordering, localization, and delivery of online trailers, trade marketing materials, and featurettes in coordination with Marketing Managers (subtitling and dubbing).
Track and monitor Universal trailer costs in line with Marketing Manager budgets.
Screenings & Stakeholder Support
Manage and book internal screenings, including print handling for press, junket, and media screenings.
Provide sales support backup for sales-related activities when required.
Financial & Platform Management
Create and manage purchase orders (POs) related to dubbing, subtitling, print, internal screenings, and warehouse costs.
Review invoices for accuracy prior to approval.
Update studio platforms in line with guidelines and requirements.
Estimate print- and trailer-related costs for budgeting purposes.
Compliance & Censorship
Manage censorship processes under the self-regulating system, including screening films and completing censorship questionnaires in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
Update Interplan with required censorship information.
Qualifications And Competencies
Qualifications & Experience
Fluency in English, French and Flemish is essential
Proven experience in print management, localization, post-production, or theatrical distribution within the film, TV, or media industry.
Hands-on experience managing dubbing and subtitling workflows, including coordination with local studios, translators, and creative teams.
Strong understanding of theatrical print delivery, digital distribution platforms, and exhibitor requirements.
Experience working with studio systems and asset management tools (e.g. Gofilex or similar).
