Location: Eagan MN

Schedule: Rotational Shift (Day/Night)

Duration: Long-term Contract (12+ Months)

Work Arrangement: Primarily On-Site (Currently hybrid up to 1–2 days/week; subject to change. May transition to full-time on-site.)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Enterprise Systems Monitoring Tech to support a large-scale enterprise environment

This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with prior incident management or help desk experience, strong analytical abilities, and excellent communication skills. The selected candidate will work within Windows and Linux-based monitoring environments, exercising independent judgment to resolve complex technical issues in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.

Shift Details

Training Period:

First two weeks: Monday–Friday, Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM CT)

Day Shift Options:

7:00 AM – 3:00 PM CT
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM CT

Night Shift:

11:00 PM – 7:00 AM CT
Includes weekends; days off TBD (likely Wednesday/Thursday)

Schedule requirements are subject to operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily operations of large-scale computing infrastructure supporting 300+ applications
Analyze system alerts, determine root cause, and take appropriate action
Log alerts, create service tickets, and notify stakeholders
Initiate and manage critical incident bridges using tools such as Webex and Zoom
Act as Incident Lead, including executive-level communications
Assist in triage and incident management through performance metric analysis
Support deployment activities and change requests while maintaining SOX compliance
Draft and distribute incident notifications to management
Execute and monitor incident and change requests
Maintain clear and effective written and verbal communication

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma + 5 years additional experience OR Bachelor’s degree + minimum 1 year IT experience
Prior help desk or incident management experience
Strong networking knowledge (ability to identify network-related outages)
Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
Ability to interpret monitoring tool alerts and communicate findings clearly
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Must be able to work on-site in Eagan, MN

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
Experience with enterprise monitoring tools
Familiarity with IT Service Desk models
Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments
Critical Incident Management experience, including communication with executive leadership (VP-level and above)
Comfort using Linux command line
