Job Description:
The Tech Delivery Lead is a technical owner with strong project delivery skills and experience who has an end to end view and can lead the delivery team in execution for a best in class solution. The Lead delivers value for one or more lines of business as they lead the technical teams and partners to provide the solutions required. The individual must be able to effectively bridge business and technology teams, actively identify and remove roadblocks or risks, ensure resources are used efficiently, manage challenges and escalations, and validate that technical solutions are in alignment with business needs, best practices, and architectural direction. The Lead will be responsible for multiple concurrent projects, so time management, task switching, prioritization, delegation, and communication are skills required to succeed.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in business planning discussion and definition of the technology delivery approach, including cross applications/teams integration, and/or release co-ordination.
Ensure the alignment of solution design to comply with enterprise standards and meet enterprise or segment TS strategic direction (e.g. TOM; enterprise assets).
Provide technical support for escalated incidents to ensure they are resolved efficiently and communicate to project manager and business partners.
Own technology decisions and outcomes.
Utilize appropriate methodologies and tools (Agile, PDLC).
Ensure team is providing accurate allocation forecasts and work with the business PM to ensure on budget delivery.
Actively manage risks and dependencies, ensuring business PM and key stakeholders are kept apprised.
Cross-project alignment and interlocking of decision making, in partnership with business PM.
Look for opportunities to minimize any negative Run The Bank (RTB) impact and reduce RTB costs.
Operate with agility and simplicity.
Reporting and communications as required.
Job Requirements :
Undergraduate Degree in Technical Discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science)
8+ Years’ experience relevant experience.
Proven experience in driving technology project delivery with Enterprise impact and achieving target-state through a roadmap of investments that drive business outcomes.
Skill in applying technology expertise and leading development of end-to-end technical solutions at the Product Family or Platform level, and leading a team of technology delivery professionals
Skill in managing partners and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet strategic direction, business and technical requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals with risks and impacts considered.
Knowledge of applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, bank standards, regulatory and compliance standards
Knowledge and experience of the financial services industry, banking and insurance products, data management, data governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance
Strong knowledge & experience in Microsoft Azure, integration, and experience implementing cloud technology solutions in industries with high regulatory oversight. GCP knowledge and experience is a plus.
Strong experience in risk management and budget management.
Strong Communication & problems solving Skills.
Proven experience working with high-level stakeholders and ability to present to executive teams.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
