The Opportunity

We are looking for a high-level Solution Architect to drive the technical strategy for a global Cyber & Physical Defense Centre. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of complex security engineering and regulatory compliance.

You will be responsible for the architectural blueprint that protects some of the world’s most recognisable brands, ensuring their infrastructure is resilient, compliant, and future-proof.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Strategy: Lead the design and evolution of the platform underpinning global regulatory and compliance monitoring.
Cryptographic Design: Act as the Subject Matter Expert for cryptography, reviewing and designing advanced solutions to secure sensitive data.
End-to-End Governance: Create robust designs that integrate technical requirements with commercial, regulatory, and organizational goals.
Requirement Shaping: Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and Product Owners to transform abstract business needs into scalable, decoupled architectures.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and assess infrastructure currency risks, offering clear roadmaps for "ever-greening" systems and solutions.
Technical Oversight: Set guiding principles and success criteria to ensure engineering teams deliver high-quality, modern security code.

Your Technical Profile

Architecture Expertise: Extensive experience in systems engineering and solution architecture within multi-disciplinary product teams.
Cloud & Security: Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its native security services.
Modern DevOps: Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, Harness, and GitHub.
Compliance Mastery: Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and GRC processes.
Cyber Defense Background: Previous experience working within a Security Operations (SOC) or Cyber Defense environment is highly desirable.
Stakeholder Influence: Superb communication skills with the ability to "tell a story" using data, making complex technical concepts accessible to non-technical collaborators.
