Software Engineer - AI

We are currently partnered with a Unicorn Fintech who are transforming the world of Lending through Artificial Intelligence. Led by former Executives at some of the world's leading Tech businesses and Investment Banks, this is an opportunity to join an outstanding business who are nearing profitability and who are backed by top Tier-1 investors.

They are soon embarking on the build of an entirely new, industry-first product that will involve extensive greenfield development in Generative AI - they are looking to stand up an Agentic System and Application that will change the future of customer experience. Having seen 5x YoY growth for the past 3 years, you will be joining a business on an extremely strong upward trajectory.

Working with a team of ex-Google, Meta & Stripe Engineers, this role will see be multifaceted. Initially, you leverage strong Product Engineering skills and will working as part of a specialized team who build and ship features for the core platform. Down the line (6-12 months) you will lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions, including document classification, call center analytics, and domain-specific agentic AI. You will also identify and implement generative AI use cases to drive operational efficiency across business functions and will manage the architecture, training, and deployment of open-source deep learning models on advanced infrastructure.

What we are looking for?

2+ Years' commercial experience in Software Engineering - ideally strong proficiency in Python and focus on AI-driven Product Development
Experience in AI Engineering, ML Engineering or similar, with a focus on building and shipping AI-powered Applications
Exceptional Software Engineering skills (particularly in Python coding) with a strong emphasis on AI, particularly large language models (LLMs).

For this position, we are looking for individuals who have built and shipped AI products and solutions to customer bases. Your experience could be from a startup, major tech org (Databricks, Snowflake, Palantir etc) or from within Big Tech. We are also looking for people who are excited to work on a range of products - from full-stack Engineering through to AI/ML.
