Job Title: Sr. Specialist Software Developer B2B Commerce

Current Need:

We areseekinga highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate willbe responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingour microservices-based B2B ecommerce platform using Spring Boot and React. This role requires a deep understanding of software engineering best practices, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion forleveragingcutting-edgetechnologies to drive innovation and efficiency. The Senior Engineer will also play a strategic role in shaping the platform's technical direction, mentoring team members, and influencing cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:

Architect, develop, andmaintainscalable and robust microservices using Spring Boot and React to power our B2B ecommerce platform.

Lead architectural decisions and contribute to the design of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with businessobjectivesand technical standards.

Evaluate and integrate generative AI capabilities into platformstrategyto improvedevelopmentworkflows and product capabilities.

Lead initiatives involving advanced AI frameworks such as the MCP Protocol, RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG), and A2A Protocol, guiding the team in practical implementation.

Collaboration and Integration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate our platform with ERP systems, data warehouses, and other essential applications.

Collaborate with product management to refine feature requirements and specifications.

Influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus on technical solutions.

Drive AI adoption across engineering teams and define standards for AI-assisted development.

Architect and oversee connectivity strategies for LLM agents via APIs, enabling robust multiagent collaboration and seamless integration.

Best Practices and Optimization:

Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.

Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability and scalability of the platform.

Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers to foster technical growth and team development.

Evaluate andoptimizelatency, scalability, and cost considerations when integrating AI services into production systems.

MinimumRequirements:

Typically requires 7+ years' experience in software development with a focus on Spring Boot and React

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Critical Skills Required:

* Strong hands-on engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, HTML/CSS/JS, RDBMS, REST, GraphQL Git.

* Foundational knowledge of HTTP, cookies, sessions, AJAX, and browser behavior.

* Familiarity with Elastic, Redis, React, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, Phyton.

* Familiarity with the MCP Protocol and RAG based AI agents.

* Exposure of LLM Agent connectivity via APIs

* Exposure to Kafka, change data capture, and data replication processes is a plus.

* Understanding of microservices-based architectures.

* Basic familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

* Awareness of performance tuning and optimization techniques.

* Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards.

Preferred Skills:

Experience designing and building large-scale ecommerce applications.

Experience with B2B ecommerce platforms

Travel requirement:10-15%

Candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S, now or in the future, without the support from McKesson.
