Job Specifications
LeverageTek is actively seeking an Event & Demand Generation Specialist for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.
Work Location
The successful candidate will be required to work in a hybrid model at the customer headquarters in Ottawa, ON.
Security Requirement
Must be eligible for a Government of Canada Reliability Clearance.
Key Tasks
• Lead the evolution of flagship and smaller initiatives to align with demand generation objectives, governance standards, and efficiency targets
• Own planning and execution of client-led and co-hosted events, including program design, logistics, and on-site delivery
• Shape compelling agendas, content themes, and speaker lineups aligned to target account needs and commercial priorities
• Oversee attendee journeys from registration through on-site experience and post-event engagement
• Drive integrated promotion, event content, and thought leadership assets in support of demand generation goals
• Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including sponsorship development and negotiation
• Manage budgets, contracts, agencies, and suppliers to ensure value for money and operational excellence
• Track performance, analyze engagement and pipeline impact, and apply insights to continuously improve initiatives
• Leverage CRM and marketing systems to support lead flow, engagement tracking, and pipeline contribution
• Provide guidance, best practices, and mentorship while working cross-functionally to deliver integrated initiatives
Key Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in event planning and execution
• High level of attention to detail
• Proven capability in stakeholder collaboration and alignment
• Experienced support for event delivery and lead generation activities across multiple projects, simultaneously
• Ability to support execution of numerous Account-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns, event activations, and lead generation activities
Qualifications
• Ability to manage end-to-end execution of events and partnerships
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and project management skills
• Ability to produce and edit content for marketing materials
• Relationship management, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail
• Process-oriented approach
• Bilingual (English/French) - highly preferred
Assets
• Experience leveraging GenAI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Jasper)
• Experience working in Agile environments
Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable
