Lead Architect - SC Cleared - AWS - Inside IR35
SR2 Consulting is supporting a specialist, high-growth consultancy delivering secure, enterprise-scale data platforms across the UK public sector.
We are recruiting an SC Cleared Lead Architect to lead a live data transformation engagement within central government. This is a senior leadership role combining technical authority, stakeholder engagement and consulting oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Provide enterprise and data architecture leadership across a large-scale transformation programme
Lead AWS-based architecture design within secure public sector environments
Shape and govern event-driven and data platform architectures
Oversee engagement delivery, including stakeholder management and commercial awareness
Map and rationalise complex incumbent technology estates
Collaborate within multi-supplier/blended delivery environments
Support procurement, transition and architectural assurance activities where required
Essential Experience
Active SC Clearance
10+ years of enterprise and data architecture experience
Strong AWS architecture expertise
Experience designing event-driven architectures
Experience with modern data platforms (Data Lake, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
Consulting background with experience leading client engagements
Proven delivery within large-scale UK public sector programmes
Broad enterprise architecture capability across infrastructure, application, data and security domains
