Job Specifications

MUST:

6 years of experience in infrastructure engineering
Strong experience with both mixture of Microsoft and Linux
Expert level with infrastructure monitoring
Experience working with infrastructure monitoring tools (i.e. “Logicmonitor” is huge plus)
Experience being proactive with monitoring rather than reactive
Experience with patch management, configuration management, and the tools patch management tools
Experience with disaster recovery
Strong experience with both back up and restores
Familiar with PowerShell scripting
ITIL governance ideas/knowledge
Experience with servers, storage, m365 , and Azure cloud
Experience with hypervisor

DAY TO DAY:

We are seeking a well-rounded, hands-on Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to support and maintain our technology environment. The biggest focuses of this role are infrastructure monitoring and patch management. This role is ideal for a versatile professional who thrives in collaborative environments, values cross-training, and can serve as a dependable technical backup across multiple infrastructure domains.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and optimize server, storage, and security infrastructure across hybrid (cloud and on-premises) environments
Perform proactive and reactive system monitoring to ensure uptime, reliability, and performance
Manage patching processes, including operating system updates, security patches, and third-party application updates
Support configuration management and infrastructure standardization efforts
Assist in the design, deployment, and improvement of infrastructure solutions
Contribute to automation initiatives to streamline operational tasks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen system resilience, security, and compliance
Document processes and support knowledge sharing to promote strong backup coverage and cross-training
