Location: Bay Area, CA and NJ/NY , Charlotte, NC; Chandler, AZ, Irving, TX
Contract: $70/hr. on W2
Duration: 12 Months
About the Role
We’re seeking a highly skilled Full?Stack Engineer with strong experience in React and Python or Java backend development, combined with a solid foundation in data engineering, analytics, and AI?enabled automation. This role sits at the intersection of application development and data solutions — ideal for someone who can build intuitive front-end experiences, architect scalable backend services, and work across modern analytics platforms.
You’ll play a pivotal role in developing enterprise-grade applications, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights, and contributing to intelligent automation and AI agent capabilities.
Top Technical Focus Areas
1. Full?Stack Application Development (Primary Priority)
Build modern, responsive UI experiences using React, including hooks, component libraries, and state management patterns.
Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python (preferred) or Java, supporting both application logic and data-driven workflows.
Implement secure, production-ready architectures leveraging best practices for testing, observability, and CI/CD integration.
2. Data, Analytics, and Intelligent Automation
Build advanced dashboards and analytical experiences (Power BI strongly preferred).
Create robust data transformation pipelines using Python and/or Alteryx.
Develop workflows that support automation, AI agent orchestration, and event-driven processes.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications, integrating React front-ends with Python/Java backend services.
Implement APIs and microservices for data access, transformation, automation, and AI workflows.
Build and optimize Power BI dashboards focused on performance, UX, and business impact.
Develop scalable Python scripts and frameworks supporting data engineering, automation, and generative AI use cases.
Create and maintain Alteryx workflows for data blending, cleansing, and ingestion pipelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Contribute to the evolution of a cross-enterprise AI and automation framework, including AI agents and orchestration layers.
Integrate tools like Copilot and Tachyon into broader engineering and data workflows.
Required Skills
Strong full?stack engineering experience
React (hooks, reusable components, state management, UI frameworks)
Backend development in Python or Java (REST APIs, microservices, automation tools)
Expertise in Power BI, including DAX, modeling, and UI/UX design.
Hands-on experience with Alteryx, including building and optimizing workflows.
Advanced SQL and data modeling skills.
Experience working with large, complex datasets.
Ability to deliver production-grade, scalable code across both application and data environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building or integrating AI agents or working within generative AI frameworks.
Familiarity with Copilot for developer productivity or workflow automation.
Experience with Tachyon or similar advanced data/observability platforms.
Background in strategy, planning, analytics, or data-driven business functions.
