IT Service Desk Support Analyst – 6‑Month Contract (Hybrid, Downtown Toronto)

We’re hiring an IT Service Desk Support Analyst on behalf of a well‑established organization to support frontline IT operations. This is an initial 6‑month contract with strong potential for extension, working 4 days per week onsite in Downtown Toronto.

This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a high‑volume support environment, values customer service, and is interested in long‑term growth within an IT support function.

What you’ll be doing

Provide frontline support for incidents and service requests, managing a high volume of tickets while maintaining strong user satisfaction
Apply incident, problem, and service management best practices to resolve issues efficiently and reduce recurring problems
Support and improve IT processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and change management
Work independently with business stakeholders, communicating clearly and professionally
Collaborate closely with the IT support team to improve service desk operations and contribute to ongoing process maturity

What we’re looking for

3–5 years of experience in an IT support or service desk environment
Strong knowledge of incident management and problem management practices
Experience working with IT service management tools, including: ServiceNow, Office 365, TeamViewer or similar remote support tools, JIRA (experience or willingness to learn, as the tool is being introduced)
Solid understanding of Microsoft‑based environments

Nice to have

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer‑service mindset
Comfortable supporting users and stakeholders at all levels
Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently
Curious, eager to learn, and genuinely interested in service desk and IT support work
Interest in long‑term growth within IT support, including progression toward a team lead role
Values soft skills and service mindset as much as technical capability

Contract details

Type: Contract (6 months to start, extensions expected)
Location: Downtown Toronto
Work model: Hybrid (4 days onsite per week)
Pay rate: approx. $25/hr
