Job Specifications
We are seeking a highly collaborative Software Developer to join a Systems Integration team supporting front office and portfolio management stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of business users and engineering, with a strong emphasis on building intuitive, high-impact UX/UI solutions for a data delivery platform.
This is an exciting opportunity for a developer who enjoys owning features end-to-end — from requirements gathering and UX design through implementation, integration, and iteration.
Location:
Hybrid preferred in Charlotte, NC
Remote candidates within EST/CST will be considered
Duration:
8–12 month contract with strong potential for extension
What You’ll Do:
Partner directly with portfolio management and operations teams to understand workflows and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
Design and build modern, user-centered interfaces using Angular, integrated with Azure, SQL, and Python
Deliver full-stack enhancements across data warehouse, ETL, and analytics environments
Leverage AI-driven development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, LLMs) to accelerate coding, documentation, testing, and solution design
Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, data engineers, and consultants to ship high-quality, maintainable products
Independently own small products and features from concept to release
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience building production-level software within small to mid-sized engineering teams
Strong front-end expertise in Angular (or comparable frameworks) with a sharp eye for UX/UI quality
Practical full-stack experience with Azure, GitHub, SQL, and Python, particularly within data-intensive environments
Experience working with AI-enabled development workflows while maintaining strong engineering judgment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate non-technical requirements into clear, executable plans
Financial services experience preferred, especially within portfolio management, risk modeling, or investment workflows
