Your team and your responsibilities
The B2B Data Business team is part of the Connected Technologies division responsible for the Toyota app, Multimedia and B2B data services. To provide these data driven services, over 2.5 million vehicles send data to our servers each day.
Our B2B Data Business team is responsible for creating data driven products and services for our leasing, finance and insurance partners, and for 3 rd party B2B customers like fleet companies and data aggregators.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to data-based business development, connected car use cases and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-evolving area.
Your project
Reporting to an experienced Business Owner in our team, you are expected to shape our future Fleet strategy with regards to vehicle data.
In addition, you will be supporting the team on various Data use cases from commercial, technical and legal aspect.
The Scope Of Activities Include
Competitor analysis and benchmarking : Analyse what B2B data products are offered by competitor vehicle brands, and identify gaps in our Toyota data offerings.
Fleet companies : Interact with different fleet companies to identify their data needs, and make proposals to improve our future data product line-up
Business set-up : work together with our related fleet and leasing departments to implement ways to include data pricing into the vehicle leasing price.
Marketing : Benchmark the website of data competitor and propose a structure for a Toyota B2B Data website. Create a information pack regarding B2B data business for our distributors and dealers in 30 markets. Support online training sessions.
Support : Prepare presentations, reports, and insights to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment. Collaborate with legal, data privacy, and compliance teams to support GDPR-aligned data usage and product requirements.
Your Profile
Student in area of Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science or similar.
Interested in the automotive industry and vehicle data
Preferably living in Belgium.
Fluent in English both speaking and writing
Comfortable with Excel and Power point
Pro-active, self-motivated, logical thinker, quick learner, good communicator
Efficient, objective driven and can work independently
Project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work with all levels in the organisation

Confidentiality
Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report. This issue needs to be discussed with candidate/school in advance.
It is mandatory that applicants are students for the entire period of the internship.
We can only accept students with an EEA or Swiss citizenship (not requiring a work permit or visa to be eligible to perform an internship in Belgium)
