Job Role: Cloud and Infrastructure Platform Engineer
Work Location: Charlotte, North Carolina. Hybrid (min 2 days in person)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Platform Engineer with strong
expertise across cloud migration, infrastructure services, server conguration, and certicate management. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-o
riented, and capable of supporting enterprise-scale migrations, platform onboarding, and troubleshooting across distributed systems.
Candidates must demonstrate expertise in at least 5–6 of the functions listed below.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Migration (DPC / NGDC)
•Deep understanding of cloud concepts, migration patterns, and landing zone architecture
•Support application teams through DPC/NGDC migration lifecycle
•Validate cloud readiness, dependencies, and remediation steps
•Provide honest, thorough assessments of cloud feasibility and risks
2. Infrastructure Services
•Configure and onboard APIs into Apigee
•Set up file transfers using NDM and SFTP, including node/service account configuration
•Create and manage S3 tenants, access policies, and integration mechanisms
•Configure AVI/VIP load balancers for HA/DR
3. Server Provisioning & Configuration
•Coordinate with platform engineering teams for provisioning
•Understand internal workings of load balancers, web servers, Tomcat, and application servers
•Troubleshoot server issues including memory, performance, and restart automation
4. Certificate & Key Management
•Manage Vena certificates, SSH keys, and authentication protocols
•Troubleshoot certificate failures, handshake issues, and renewal workflows
5. Linux & File System Expertise
•Strong understanding of Linux file systems, mount points, compute/edge nodes
•Troubleshoot client products (Oracle Client, ODBC, Java Client, Autosys, NDM, etc.)
•Basic shell scripting for automation and diagnostics
Required Skills
•5–10 years in infrastructure engineering or cloud migration roles
•Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
•Hands-on experience with Apigee, NDM/SFTP, S3, VIP/Load Balancers
•Strong Linux fundamentals
•Experience with Vena, SSH, certificates, and key-based authentication
•Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Preferred Skills
•Experience with automation (Python/Shell)
•Experience supporting large-scale enterprise migrations
•Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes)
