Cloud & Infrastructure Platform Engineer (Location - Charlotte)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud & Infrastructure Platform Engineer with strong expertise across cloud migration, infrastructure services, server configuration, and certificate management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cloud Migration (DPC / NGDC)

- Deep understanding of cloud concepts, migration patterns, and landing zone architecture

- Support application teams through DPC/NGDC migration lifecycle

- Validate cloud readiness, dependencies, and remediation steps

- Provide honest, thorough assessments of cloud feasibility and risks

2. Infrastructure Services

- Configure and onboard APIs into Apigee

- Set up file transfers using NDM and SFTP

- Create and manage S3 tenants, access policies

- Configure AVI/VIP load balancers for HA/DR

3. Server Provisioning & Configuration

- Coordinate with platform engineering teams for provisioning

- Understand load balancers, web servers, Tomcat, and application servers

- Troubleshoot memory, performance, and automation issues

4. Certificate & Key Management

- Manage Venafi certificates, SSH keys, authentication protocols

- Troubleshoot certificate failures and renewals

5. Linux & File System Expertise

- Strong understanding of Linux file systems, mount points, compute/edge nodes

- Troubleshoot Oracle Client, ODBC, Java Client, Autosys, NDM

- Basic shell scripting

Required Skills

- 5-10 years in infrastructure engineering or cloud migration roles

- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP

- Hands-on with Apigee, NDM/SFTP, S3, VIP/Load Balancers

- Linux fundamentals

- Experience with Venafi, SSH, certificates

- Strong communication skills

- Python/Shell automation

- Enterprise migration support

- Splunk, AppDynamics, ThousandEyes
