Location : Lexington, KY 40508
Project Duration : 11+ months of contract
Pay rate : $55/hr. to $60/hr. On W2
UI Engineer Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Application Developer with strong experience in AWS cloud services to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop full stack web applications using modern frameworks and AWS backend services.
Build scalable APIs and micro services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and other server less technologies.
Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and fault tolerance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers.
Ensure security best practices are followed in application development and deployment.
Maintain documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in UI/Front-end engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with React JS or AngularJS (React preferred).
Solid experience building backend/UI layers using Flask.
Experience with Python UI frameworks: Tkinter, PyQt/Py Side, Dash, or Stream lit.
Proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and debugging across front/back end.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Git, build tools (Webpack/Vite), and dependency management (npm/yarn/pip) and docker containers is preferred.
AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
Experience with Graph QL, Web Sockets, or real-time data applications.
Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus.
