Job Specifications
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Cyber Vulnerability Manager to work for our client within the Retail sector. This is initially a 6 month contract with the potential to extend and will be a 3 days per week role that will be based in Leeds Area.
The Cyber Vulnerability Manager leads the retailer’s vulnerability management strategy, overseeing the migration from Qualys to Rapid7 InsightVM, managing a team of three analysts, and ensuring meaningful risk based reporting to senior stakeholders.
The role will build dashboards, automation, asset context, and governance structures that give end to end visibility across a large, diverse estate.
Responsibilities:
Own the vulnerability management strategy and roadmap.
Lead rollout of Rapid7 InsightVM and the unified agent across the estate.
Manage and mentor three vulnerability analysts.
Integrate vulnerability data with CMDB and ServiceNow workflows.
Build dashboards that contextualise vulnerabilities by asset criticality, business impact, and exploitability.
Automate prioritisation, remediation workflows, and alerting where possible.
Produce regular reporting for security leadership and exec stakeholders.
Work across infrastructure, cloud, network, and application teams to drive remediation.
About You
Strong background in vulnerability management and scanning platforms (qualys, InsightVM, Tenable).
Experience with CMDB integrations and asset management.
Strong understanding of risk‑based analysis and remediation workflows.
Experience managing analysts or leading technical teams.
Understanding of cloud, endpoint, and network vulnerability classes.
Desirable:
Experience delivering a tooling migration.
Knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps integrations.
Experience building analytics dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Rapid7 dashboards).
Familiarity with PCI DSS and GDPR requirements.
