Job Specifications

Position: Cartographer and Photogrammetrist – AI Trainer

Type: Contract

Compensation: $59–$114/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: Project-based, contract

Role Responsibilities

Apply GIS, cartography, and photogrammetry expertise to train and evaluate AI systems
Interpret and annotate satellite imagery, aerial photography, and photogrammetric datasets
Support AI understanding of spatial data, terrain models, and geospatial workflows
Review and validate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, and real-world relevance
Collaborate remotely with AI and machine learning teams to improve geospatial model performance

Requirements

Professional background in cartography, photogrammetry, geomatics, geography, or a related field
Hands-on experience with GIS platforms, spatial data analysis, and map preparation
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to translate geospatial expertise into structured, actionable feedback
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, contract-based environment
