New Exciting Role for Senior Tableau BI Specialist

Location: London Paddington, reading green park (Hybrid (2 days office)

Contract Duration: 6 Months

IR35 Status: Inside IR35

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Tableau BI Specialist to lead the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solutions within a telecom environment. This role will play a critical part in delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance analytics platforms that enable data-driven decision-making across commercial, operational, and network domains.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analytics engineers, data engineers, and leadership teams to architect governed BI ecosystems and drive enterprise-wide adoption of Tableau-based solutions.

Essential Skills & Experience

Advanced expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Cloud, and Tableau Prep Builder.
Strong SQL proficiency with experience in complex querying and performance optimisation.
Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modelling.
Experience handling large-scale telecom or enterprise datasets.
Strong knowledge of BI governance, security implementation, and access control design.
Experience working with relational databases and cloud-based data platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proven ability to gather requirements and deliver business-aligned analytics solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
