Within the Public Security division, you will contribute to deploying our cutting-edge systems MBIS, ICVS and MBSS that enable secure identity management, biometric matching and investigative capabilities for national-scale customers.
About the Role
As an Integration & Deployment Engineer, you will integrate, configure, test, validate, and deploy IDEMIA solutions within complex customer environments. You will be responsible for the full integration lifecycle, from environment setup to customer handover and training, ensuring our solutions operate securely, efficiently and reliably in production.
This role requires autonomy, strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Define integration and testing strategies, including test plans and scenarios.
Build integration environments and perform installation, configuration and upgrades of the solution.
Conduct system integration, validation, load, performance, high availability, accuracy and security tests.
Investigate issues by analyzing logs, escalate and track incidents until closure.
Produce installation, operations, testing and administration documentation.
Provide training for customers, support and maintenance teams.
Support pre-sales teams on technical integration topics when required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor less experienced integrators.
Required Technical Skills
Strong expertise with Linux operating systems.
Experience with a scripting languages such as Bash or Shell.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases.
Hands-on experience with VMware for virtualization.
Experience using Jenkins for CI/CD automation.
Knowledge of Ansible for configuration automation and deployments.
Familiarity with Xray in Jira for test management and requirements traceability.
Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps culture, automation practices and secure deployment approaches.
Nice to Have
Experience with Docker or container-based deployments.
Knowledge of a programming language such as Java or Python,
Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or similar.
Experience in biometric, identity or public security solutions.
Soft Skills & Languages
Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder interaction skills.
Strong teamwork and customer-oriented mindset.
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple integration tasks.
Fluency in French and English required; Spanish strongly appreciated.
Profile
5+ years of experience in integration, deployment or DevOps roles.
Degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
