Job Specifications

We are searching for an Interim Marketing Executive who will support the delivery of a brand-new event during a busy and exciting launch period. Working closely with the existing Marketing Manager, this role will help drive ticket sales and ensure the event is successfully promoted across multiple channels.

This is a 3-month contract position, primarily remote-based, with occasional travel to meet suppliers and sponsors. The successful candidate will also be onsite during the event days, which will involve long but rewarding days as part of a close-knit team delivering a major show.

The role suits an experienced marketing professional who is comfortable working independently, proactive in approach, and happy to roll up their sleeves to support a wide variety of tasks in a small team environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Marketing Manager in delivering marketing campaigns to promote the event and drive ticket sales
Manage and update website content to ensure accurate and engaging event information
Coordinate with sponsors and partners, including attending meetings and supporting activation plans
Develop creative briefs for designers, content creators, and external suppliers
Manage and update the CRM system, ensuring accurate data and effective audience segmentation
Create and refine marketing content including campaign copy, scripts, and promotional messaging
Assist with email marketing campaigns and audience communications
Collaborate with suppliers, agencies, and partners to ensure marketing activity is delivered on time
Provide hands-on support across a range of marketing tasks in a fast-paced event environment
Be present onsite during show days, supporting the delivery of marketing activity and ensuring smooth event execution
