Desktop Support Engineer (Contract)
Rate: £270 per day inside IR35
Location: Tadcaster, North Yorkshire
Contract: 3 months initially - with extension
We have an urgent requirement for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our end client's team in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire on a contract basis. This role includes out of hours on-call work when required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd line support in a fast-paced, ticket-driven environment.
Work independently and use initiative to resolve issues, while collaborating with the wider IT team.
Deliver excellent customer service to office-based users within a factory setting.
Support and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related infrastructure.
Adhere to Health & Safety requirements on-site.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Desktop Support/IT Support Engineer role.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments.
Experience with ServiceNow (highly desirable).
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
Comfortable working in an industrial/factory setting (office-based role).
Additional Information
Casual dress (comfortable, suitable for a factory environment).
