Who Are We Looking For

We are looking for a results-driven Business Developer to expand partnerships with e-commerce merchants. The ideal candidate will identify, engage, and onboard online merchants by offering tailored solutions that improve payment acceptance, checkout experience, and revenue growth.

This role focuses on building strong merchant relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting merchants in scaling their online businesses.

Position Overview

As a Business Development Professional, you’ll work closely with our Business Development Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone aiming to grow into a broader role in business development, sales, or product management within the company.

What You Will Do

Identify and prospect e-commerce merchants across industries such as retail, gaming, digital services, and marketplaces.
Work with the business development team in managing the sales process with potential merchants, from lead generation, preparing decks, proposals, and service. agreements, and working with project managers up to the handover of the new merchant to the account management team.
Maintain accurate activity and lead qualification information in the company’s CRM system;
Represent FasterPay and related services and products at industry events and trade shows, shadowing the sales team to broaden your knowledge about our product and industry while gaining new business leads and contacts.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong understanding of e-commerce ecosystems and online merchant operations.
Knowledge of payment gateways, digital wallets, checkout optimization, and fraud prevention is preferred.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Ability to build trust and long-term merchant relationships.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and adaptable to fast-changing environments.

Who Should Apply

2–5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably e-commerce, SaaS, or fintech).
Experience working with online merchants or digital businesses.
Strong English communication skills.
Understanding of global e-commerce trends and merchant growth strategies.
No restrictions on business travel.
