About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Merchandising & Marketing Manager to join the Uber Grocery and Retail team. In this key role, you will participate in and drive the execution of our campaign strategies to create a world-class shopping experience for consumers and deliver category growth. You will be accountable for the success of CRM, delivering seasonal campaigns and category management efforts, and support merchant growth, while collaborating with consumer ops, marketing and other cross-functional teams to elevate merchandising and CRM standards in and out-of-app. You'll leverage insights to ensure an engaging yet seamless shopping experience, and deliver operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Own local content, curation, and optimisation: e.g., build local collections; curate landing pages, vertical feeds and storefronts; recommend and decide what goes live.
Deliver high impact campaigns: Partner with the team in the delivery of merchandising for campaigns. Ensure that campaigns align with product strategies, cultural, and seasonal trends. Deliver merchant specific initiatives.
Tell the consumer story: Use performance data, consumer feedback, consider seasonality and industry trends to tell the consumer experience story. As the consumer story owner you will use this story to enhance the consumer journey, drive new strategies, and influence stakeholders.
Category Management: Manage product assortment across categories, tailoring offerings based on insights, performance metrics, and customer demand. Work with cross-functional teams to improve range, catalog, and ultimately sales.
Build, deploy, and analyse weekly CRM workflows: ensuring high-quality output through stakeholder coordination and performance monitoring. You will be responsible for writing compelling campaign copy that aligns with the brand tone of voice across all weekly CRM touchpoints.
Design and localise visual assets: use design software such as Figma and Canva, while leveraging global toolkits, to deliver against creative standards.
Data-Driven Optimization: Utilize data, insights, and industry analysis to continually refine merchandising strategies, campaign designs and CRM performance: optimizing engagement, conversion rates, and ROI. Measure platform health and report on performance regularly against key metrics with clear insights and recommendations.
Identify and raise opportunities: e.g., for product features, partnerships, marketing and work with relevant global teams for prioritisation and delivery

What You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and optimize merchandising strategies.
Excellent communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
A test-and-learn mindset, with a focus on consumer experience, engagement, and conversion.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with copywriting.
Experience with design and/or creative programs to create assets used across in-app/web and CRM.
