Unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping and evolving the Azure cloud platform of a global financial services organisation.

This role focuses on platform architecture rather than application design. You will help define and implement the core Azure infrastructure foundations that support enterprise workloads across the organisation.

The position involves designing secure, scalable and well-governed cloud environments across hybrid infrastructure, working closely with engineering, security and DevOps teams to ensure architecture is delivered in practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing Azure Landing Zones and platform architecture

• Defining Azure networking architecture (hub-spoke, segmentation, private connectivity)

• Designing hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure

• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform

• Establishing governance, security guardrails and platform standards

• Collaborating with engineering teams to translate architecture into production environments

Key requirements:

Azure Landing Zones

Terraform / Infrastructure as Code

Azure networking (Private Link, DNS, hybrid connectivity)

Enterprise cloud security and governance

Hybrid infrastructure (on-prem + Azure)
