Finatal are seeking a highly experienced Interim CFO to join a private equity-backed SaaS business in France during a critical transformation phase.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial carve-out process, ensuring a smooth transition to a standalone entity
Build and establish a robust finance function, systems, and reporting infrastructure
Partner closely with the CEO and private equity sponsors to drive strategic decision-making
Develop high-quality board reporting, forecasting, and KPI frameworks typical of PE-backed environments
Support M&A activity as part of a potential buy-and-build strategy

Candidate Profile

Proven experience as CFO or senior finance leader in a SaaS business
Prior experience in a private equity-backed company is essential
Experience working in businesses with revenues exceeding €100M preferred
Strong track record in carve-outs, separations, or complex corporate transitions
Alternatively, significant experience in aggressive buy-and-build or M&A-driven environments
Comfortable operating in high-growth, fast-moving environments with demanding stakeholders
Strong leadership presence with the ability to build credibility quickly
