Job Specifications

Responsibilities

Maintain and operate the CI microservice platform, ensuring system stability and reliability.
Perform Linux system administration, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and applying security updates.
Manage and support Docker-based environments and containerized services.
Maintain and support cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Write and maintain automation scripts using Python to support operational tasks.
Troubleshoot system issues, investigate incidents, and resolve bugs affecting the platform.
Support internal users and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth system operations.
Focus primarily on maintaining and improving existing systems rather than building new platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
2–5 years of experience in DevOps, system operations, or related roles.
Strong understanding of Linux administration.
Experience with Docker and container technologies.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS or Azure.
Proficiency in Python scripting for automation tasks.
Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and infrastructure operations.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and maintain production systems effectively.

Team & Work Environment

Work closely with a DevOps team of 3 members based in the Vancouver office.
Role is primarily operations-focused, ensuring the reliability and performance of existing infrastructure.
