Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON(Onsite)
Duration: 11 months (with possible extension)
Client: Public Sector
Pay Rate: $85/hr - $90/hr (CAD)
Mandatory Skills:
10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on large, complex enterprise or mission-critical applications.
Strong expertise in business modeling, use case modeling, process/data flow modeling, and conceptual & logical data modeling.
Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements, business rules, non-functional requirements, and system specifications.
Hands-on experience supporting Business Intelligence projects using tools such as IBM Cognos, Power BI, or Microsoft PowerApps.
Ability to analyze business problems, identify opportunities, and translate requirements into system solutions.
Experience working across Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments, collaborating with development and testing teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to liaise between business units and technical teams.
Experience supporting cloud-based or analytics platforms (e.g., SAS Viya or similar BI/cloud environments) is considered an asset.
